Greening Land-Filled Sites

Greening landfill sites to create healthy and green environment in and around the sites is another focus area of the eco-greenery promotion program. Absence of greenery promotion measures in the landfill sites are causing various environment related health hazards in the communities situated in and around the landfill sites. For the promotion of greenery in the landfill site and to create green natural landscape, RDC is striving to plant various species of vegetation suitable to stabilize the landfill sites and maintain natural and beautiful landscape.
